Mahogany for fine furniture

Mahogany is a fast-growing hardwood with a rich colour, valued for furniture, panelling and joinery. It suits the same farm-boundary and plantation planting as teak.

  • Mahogany seedlings from our nursery
  • Guidance on spacing, care and pruning
  • Timber from permitted harvests, with records

Red sanders: protected, and handled only within the law

Red sanders (Pterocarpus santalinus) is native to the hills of southern Andhra Pradesh, including the Chittoor region. It is a protected species. Its cultivation, felling, possession, transport and trade are regulated by the forest authorities, and export is tightly controlled under Indian and international rules.

We deal with it only as the law allows, with the required permissions and documents. We do not offer red sanders for general sale or export enquiries through this website. If you are a landowner with questions about permitted cultivation, or a licensed buyer, please write to us and we will tell you what we can and cannot do.
